This Rotaract Year, it is our aim to strengthen the relationship between the members of our club and that of our parent club, Rotary Club of New Kingston. With that in mind, the Professional Development Committee led by Dir. Sheena has developed the ‘Rotaract Club of New Kingston and Rotary Club of New Kingston Mentorship Programme“.
Goals/Objectives of the Programme
- Bridging the gap between Rotary and Rotaract
- Building unity among all stakeholders involved
- Ascertaining Professional Guidance for Rotaractors
Background Information
- The launch of the programme is scheduled for October 3rd at 7pm at the Liguanea Club, this will be a joint meeting with both Rotary and Rotaract.
- There will be a quarterly assessment of the programme, which includes finding out how the programme is going and what are the challenges each mentor and mentee are facing and try and find solutions to combat these challenges.
- The selection of mentors/mentees will be based on a classification- persons who are interested will choose from a list based on interactions with the persons on the list.
